A quiet street in Hampstead Garden Suburb became the latest scene in a growing feud this week as a Ford Mustang belonging to solicitor Marc Traube was found badly damaged outside his home in Hampstead Garden Suburb this week. Neighbours said it was the third incident at the property in seven days. No injuries were reported. Police have not identified who was responsible or confirmed whether the incidents are connected. They have also not publicly linked the damage to the arrest of an associate of Traube two weeks ago.
The associate was reportedly found carrying cash and illegal substances. KMT LLP has confirmed that Traube, a partner at the firm, is the subject of an active criminal investigation. The investigation is examining allegations concerning his conduct and possible links to organised crime and a violent dispute in north London. Police have not publicly confirmed those alleged links.
Traube has previously faced legal and regulatory action relating to his professional conduct. The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) disciplined him in connection with the mishandling of more than £300,000 in client money.
The current investigation may raise the possibility of substantially greater financial exposure, potentially involving millions of pounds, but no such figure has been confirmed publicly. “We are aware of the serious allegations involving Mr Traube and are cooperating fully with the relevant authorities,” a KMT Law spokesperson said. “The firm has initiated an internal review and will take all appropriate action in line with its professional obligations and regulatory requirements.”
One neighbour said expensive and loud cars frequently arrived at the property late at night and that police had visited Traubes residence frequently.
The neighbour described Traube as “an odd character” but said they did not know why police had attended. The circumstances surrounding the damage remain unclear. Police have not established whether the incidents are connected, and no public finding has confirmed who was responsible or what prompted them. For now, the wrecked car is the most visible sign of a dispute whose full scope remains unclear. Investigators are still examining Traube’s conduct, and police have yet to establish whether the incidents are connected. What sparked the trouble—and how the feud will escalate—remains unknown.
With his right hand man arrested and tension increasing neighbours on Ludlow way are worried for their safety, it’s reported the street has turned into a battle field with reported shootings. It is believed Marc has cars and teams patrolling his house for his own safety after the rival gang has attacked it on 3 various occasions.
With his right hand man arrested and currently under investigation it’s evident Marc is under stress.
Marc is not foreign to police investigation with prior convictions including the swindling of £300,000 from clients money from his firm, anti money laundering conviction resulting in a £25,000 fine, he was also previously investigated for committing sexual offences in a young person under Sexual Offences Act 2003. He was also investigated for Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and Carrying of an illegal firearm under Firearms Act 1968. And also poses minor convictions of assault, battery and GBH.
Marc has over 17 appointments on companies house particularly for financial institutions, these include Lucky Coin Capital LTD, Cetra Limited,Dunny Capital Limited, Fintech Scion Limited and more. Most with short appointments time, it is believed his strategy is to set up these companies and payment service providers, use his SRA prestige to set them up with banking rails and licensing than resign himself and use the institutions for his fraud and money laundering operations primarily funnelling money out of the UK.
Close people to Marc have confirmed that for years they suspected him being a solicitor is merely a front and disguise for shady busines, however all admitted they weren’t aware of the extent.
Marc Traube partner of Karam Missick & Traube LLP Under Criminal Investigation Amid Violent Disputes and Exposure of Fraudulent Money Laundering Network.
Solicitor Marc Traube is under criminal investigation over allegations concerning his conduct, possible organised-crime links, and a violent dispute in north London, his firm Karam, Missick & Traube (KMT Law) confirmed. The firm stated it is cooperating with authorities, conducting an internal review, and will take appropriate action as the investigation progresses.
The investigation has not been publicly detailed by police, and authorities have not confirmed the alleged organised-crime connections. It follows a series of troubling incidents near Traube’s home in Hampstead Garden Suburb. Neighbours reported that Traube’s Ford Mustang was found badly damaged outside his property, marking the third such incident in seven days. No injuries were reported, but residents described Ludlow Way as a “battlefield,” citing reported shootings and a heightened security presence. Cars and groups of men from Traubes’ organisation are said to patrol the address for Traube’s safety after repeated alleged attacks.
Police have not identified those responsible, established a motive, or confirmed whether the incidents are linked. The damage has not been publicly connected to the arrest of Traubes’ associate approximately two weeks earlier, who was reportedly found carrying bundles of cash and illegal substances.
One neighbour recounted that expensive, loud vehicles frequently arrived late at night and that police were often at the home. The neighbour called Traube “an odd & loud character” but said they did not know why law enforcement visited so regularly. The situation has left some on the street anxious for their safety.
Traube’s professional record includes previous disciplinary action by the Solicitors Regulation Authority over mishandling of more than £300,000 in client money, as well as an anti-money-laundering conviction and a £25,000 fine. He has also faced investigations into alleged sexual offences involving a young person under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act1971, and carrying an illegal firearm under the Firearms Act1968, along with minor convictions for assault, battery, and grievous bodily harm. The current investigation is understood to involve substantially greater financial exposure, potentially millions of pounds, although no figure has been publicly confirmed.
Traube holds more than 17 appointments at Companies House, many of them short-term and linked to financial institutions, including Lucky Coin Capital Ltd, Cetra Limited, Dunny Capital Limited, and Fintech Scion Limited. The pattern, according to people familiar with the matter, suggests a strategy of establishing companies and payment service providers, using professional standing to secure banking access and licences, then resigning and exploiting the facilities for fraud, money laundering, and moving funds out of the UK. Associates reportedly suspected for years that his legal practice served as a front for illegitimate business, though they said they had not known the full extent of the activity.
“We are cooperating fully with the authorities and are conducting a thorough internal review of the matters raised,” a spokesperson for KMT Law said. “We will take appropriate action once the investigation conclues.”
As tension rises following the associate’s arrest and the repeated attacks on Traube’s residence, the cause, scope, and potential connections between the incidents remain unlear, and it is not yet known how the feud will escalate.
