New GP practice to open at the health centre in March

A new GP practice will open within Willesden's health centre from March, the local NHS has confirmed, adding around 8,000 appointment slots a year.

The practice will register up to 6,000 patients and is expected to ease pressure on nearby surgeries, several of which have closed their lists to new patients.

Recruitment underway

Two GPs and a nurse practitioner have already been recruited, with a third GP post still open.
